We will work together in partnership with the community to prevent pet overpopulation by bringing awareness to the benefits of pet adoption and spay/neuter, by ensuring careful placement of our rescue dogs to lifelong homes, and by promoting responsible pet guardianship. In doing so, we endeavor to continue GIVING HOPE to Georgia’s homeless Chihuahuas and the people who love them.
NEWS & EVENTS
November, 2009 - Chihuahua Rescue of Georgia, Inc. has officially filed for 501(c)3, charitable, tax-exempt recognition from the IRS! We will know the status of our application within 90 days!
December, 2009- The Holiday Open House Event was a great success and we raised $1000 towards the veterinary expenses for our animals! Thank you to Hands for Hire, Inc. for sponsoring the event. Check out Jose visiting with Santa!
Holiday Giving
'Tis the Season for giving and one of the ways you can help us continue our good work in the community is by donating towards our rescue efforts! Since inception in 2008, we have rescued 87 dogs, and placed 75 dogs into new, loving homes!
